World class support centre delivering a competitive advantage

Howden originally established a Shared Service Centre in Budapest in 2015 with the goal of centralising back-office operations used by multiple divisions to eliminate redundancy and deliver improved efficiency across its business operations in Europe. Howden SSC continued to prosper broadening its remit to additional functions and developing its team accordingly. Following Howden's acquisition by Chart, Chart Global Business Services (CGBS) has subsequently grown to a multinational team of around 150 experts providing a range of services to Howden and parent company Chart business units around the globe in the disciplines of Finance (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Master Data, Financial Accounting, Controlling, Treasury and Tax), Information Technology, Procurement, Data & BI.

Our mission is to provide benefits for our stakeholders through data consistency, accurate reporting, and standardised processes.

  • Application - Should your background and skillset match our criteria, we will endeavour to reach out within 2-3 business days to schedule an initial and confidential phone call.
  • Telephone interview - Is for you to introduce yourself and explain your motivation and previous relevant work experiences. Following that, you will receive information about the company, extended information of the role you have applied for and an insight of everyday life at CGBS. If the phone interview is considered positive by both parties, we will schedule a personal interview, where we will invite you to our office.
  • Personal interview - Consists of 2 main parts; First is a 30 minute long written assessment. The assessment will involve relevant exercises/tasks which you would encounter in the position you have applied for. After the assessment is completed, you will be having a personal conversation(approx. 1 hour) with your potential Team Leader / Manager and a member from HR. The conversation will evolve around your past experience, your personal motivation and will be a chance for you to ask clarifying questions about the role and our company.
  • Evaluation - After our meeting, we strive to get back in touch as soon as possible with our evaluation of the meeting and, if successful, an offer can be presented.
